Chinese Society of Power Engineering is the academic mass organization of national power engineering science and technology professionals, a part of (CAST) China Association for Science and Technology, its predecessor the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering Turbine and Boiler,was established in 1962, changed its name to China Machinery Society of Power Engineering in 1979. According to the requirement of China's power engineering disciplines development and the majority of power engineering science and technology professionals, become a national top level society - China Society of Power Engineering in December 1988,was approved by the National Science and Technology Commission, joined the (CAST)China Association for Science and Technology in August 1992 . The Society is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive society focusing on the research, design and manufacture of power generation thermodynamic equipment. It includes 11 professional committees such as turbine, boiler, hydraulic turbine, nuclear power, industrial gas, automatic control, materials, environmental protection technology and equipment, new energy equipment industrial gas and academic, organization, international cooperation, editing and publishing, consulting and exhibitions and other five working committees.

Indian Pulp & Paper Technical Association, popularly known as IPPTA was formed in the year 1964 by a few enthusiastic professionals under the lead of Mr.V.K.Poddar. It is an association of professionals engaged in pulp, paper, board, newsprint and allied industries in India and abroad. The objective of IPPTA is to primarily promote the spirit of fraternity amongst the members and thereby improve professional efficiency. Secondarily, to create awareness about the constant changing technology around the world and its application both in attaining better productivity and quality. Ultimately to provide a common platform to its members to share their achievements and ideas besides finding solutions to hindrances faced in regular vocational activities.

Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association (IARPMA) is the apex body represents the vibrant non-wood paper (NCRM) segment in India.
Non-wood paper sector in India is the largest Paper and board manufacturer in the country. Out of total production of paper & board in India, 70-75% is contributed by non-wood sector with a product mix of all varieties of paper (writing, printing, packaging, speciality, paperboards and newsprint) located in all regions of India using unconventional raw materials like recyclable waste paper, agro-residues, viz. bagasse, wheat straw & rice straw, other elephanta grass, jute, grass, etc comprise thus the membership of IARPMA represent a broad spectrum of such mills
The member mills of the Association (IARPMA) help the country to meet the major requirements of paper from waste materials. Thus help in conversion of waste into wealth.
IARPMA is registered body registered with the Registrar of Societies, Government of NCT of Delhi and function as a catalytic agent for the promotion and development of Indian Paper Industry.

As a national industry body, Indian Paper Manufacturers Association (IPMA) represents the resurgent and organized face of paper industry in India.
Large integrated paper mills from private and public sector with a product mix of all varieties of paper (writing, printing, packaging, speciality, paperboards and newsprint) located in all regions and using conventional fibre such as wood and bamboo and also unconventional raw materials like recyclable waste paper, agro-residues, viz. bagasse and wheat straw comprise the membership of IPMA in a broad spectrum.

The Association of Indonesia Pulp and Paper Industries was set up in 1969 as a platform of Indonesia pulp and paper industry, to championing their achievements and benefits of doing sustainable pulp and paper industries while also improving their competitiveness.

The Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a professional organization established on the basis of voluntariness and equality of its members.
The main objective is to gather, organize and create conditions for members to cooperate, cooperate and help each other; help and advice for members; provide members with domestic and world information in all fields of technology, environment, market, production, business, management, training and investment in pulp and paper. The Thai Pulp and Paper Industries Association (TPPIA) was founded in 1976 to develop the overall state of Thai pulp and paper industry to a world-class standard. The Association serves as a core of cooperation between pulp and paper manufacturers and other stakeholders for the industry’s opinions, the development of production technology and the enhancement of environmentally friendly standards of Thai pulp and paper products.

Pulp and Paper Industries are relatively relevant to Packaging, Printing and many other industries as an upstream of the supply chain. Thai paper products are well regarded on its capability to manufacture quality paper and packaging and its ability to address the wide ranges of industrial needs and applications.

Korea TAPPI was founded in 1967 and ever since we have been making efforts for the development of the pulp, paper and allied industry and for improving friendship among members.

Korea TAPPI will not cease its endeavor to improve our technological and scientific understanding in pulp, paper and allied industry. At the same time, we will work hard to publicize the usefulness and environmental friendliness of paper products to the public.

Korea TAPPI always tries to expand and strengthen the relationship among our industry and with overseas sister associations. In 2016, we are proud to host the PanPacific Conference 2016 in Seoul along with our sister associations. Korea TAPPI is willing to play the viral role in attracting excellent young students into the paper industry. Our 50th anniversary is approaching and I would like to take this opportunity revitalizing Korea TAPPI activities along with you.

JAPAN TAPPI is the organization composed of pulp and paper scientists, engineers, and managers in industries, governmental institutions and academia. JAPAN TAPPI was established for the purpose to contribute to the development of the paper industry in Japan and the world as well.

Taiwan Paper Industry Association (TPIA) was established on September 22, 1947. For more than 70 years, TPIA has served to coordinate industry relations, advance common interests, and promote the sustainable development of the paper industry. TPIA’s operations include:Collecting market intelligents of the paper industry domestically and internationally.Surveying raw materials s and assistances in the deployment thereof.TPIA memberships, sales and marketing surveys, statistics and promotion.Facilitating collaboration in respect of papermaking technology.Protecting the legal rights of TPIA members.Surveying the business situation of TPIA members.Exhibitions involving products of TPIA members.
Recording and updating basic information of members and member representatives.Applications, updates, replacements, and proof of member qualifications in respect of TPIA membership certificates.Mediating and assisting in the mediation of industry disputes and labor disputes.Researching and improving labor productivity, and organizing related staff training and seminars.Charity events for TPIA members.Activities commissioned by agencies, groups or TPIA members.Assisting with the implementation and research recommendations of government economic policies and industrial laws.Participating in social activism.Other matters pursuant to relevant laws and regulations.

Paper has been an irreplaceable commodity for us for more than 2,000 years since it was first invented. The value of paper was not limited to the record and delivery of information, and it has been constantly expanding from hygiene paper to packaging, and today to high-tech materials.
Even the limits of poor forest resources, Korea has become the world's fifth largest paper-making country today. It is possible that we are accomplished with the world-class recycling technology and the export-led industrial structure instead of staying in the domestic market as well.
Korea Paper Association holds the moment of all of this paper-making history in Korea. We will do our best to make the domestic paper industry leap to the foundation of sustainable growth and make a new leap forward.

We are the association formed by major paper companies with the aim to promote development of the Japanese paper industry and are engaged in the following activities through the committee members:
*Exchange of views and information among members
*Research for production of paper, paperboard and pulp at home and abroad
*Collection, preparation and announcement of information, data and statistics of the industry
*Publicity activities
*Others that are necessary to achieve the aim

The Pulp and Paper Manufacturers’ Association, Inc. (PULPAPEL) is composed of the following major paper mills: Bataan Pulp and Paper Mills, United Pulp and Paper Company (UPPC); Mayleen Paper Inc., TIPCO, and PICOP. Since imported paper products are considered part of the product market, the import sector is another market participant.

Bangladesh Paper Mills Association (BPMA) - a non partisan, non profit nationwide trade body duly registered with the Commerce Ministry and Registrar of Joint Stock Companies. BPMA is the only representative of the private sector paper, paper products and newsprint industry of the country.
You would be happy to know that BPMA since its inception has been working for promotion and development of the local paper industry. BPMA’s goal is to identify the problems/challenges hindering the growth of local paper industry, recommend suggestions to the policy makers and advocate for changes in government policies. BPMA stresses on developing a spirit of cooperation among all paper manufacturing companies in matters of mutual interest.

Myanmar Pulp and Paper Industry Association (MPPIA) is established since 2011. MPPIA is incorporated under the Myanmar Companies Act and officially recognized as an Association by the Government of the Republic of Myanmar, Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development with the Notification No.99/2014-2015 (Association) , dated 3rd October 2014.
